The Present

The present is the gift you will find in the midst of struggle. Choose it. When we experience major, life-altering struggles, we are forced to stay in the present. It's all we can handle. This is the greatest moment of your life because this moment is the only moment you've got. This is the moment where God is and to be with God, you must be with him now—in this moment.

The ability to stay in the present moment is the predicator of joy. Live it. The account of Luke 2:1-7 represents intense struggle for Mary and Joseph, yet you know thay looked back on these events with fondness and richness of faith and life.
