Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a starting point to talk about what Christ is calling us to in this world. There has long been a tradition in the church of using language and stories of other worlds, even magical ones, to talk about spiritual truths. C.S. Lewis, Charles Williams, and J.R.R. Tolkien were all faithful scholars and pastors who used magical places to talk about the kingdom of God. We wouldn't go so far as to place the Harry Potter series in the same company, but it can point us toward the truth that belongs to God.
