Saints and Sinners

The story of The Samaritan Woman is an example of someone who society considered to be a true sinner in every sense of the word. She was a loser. She had made one too many mistakes. Failed way too many times. But when she "coincidentally" bumps into Jesus, she gets the best surprise of all—surprised by grace. Even though nothing in her life has changed—all of a sudden everything had changed. Failure was part of her past, but hope was now in her present. The Samaritan Woman show us that some of us see ourselves as sinners yet fail to see that God may be calling and equipping us to be more like saints.
