Title: Solitunity
Speaker: Charlie McMahan
Description:

In this series, we're looking at our 5 S's of spiritual formation and overlaying them with the directions from Romans 12 to discover new words for our community—ForeWords. The first word, Solitunity, is a derivative of our 'S' of Solitude.

Solitude is not a commitment you make because you have to, even though you dread it. Solitude is a willing response to God's extension to us. Solitude is time with holiness so that we can be holy and pleasing to God. When we have moments of solitude alone with God, we're sacrificing our time for the King of the universe. And what does Solitude do to our souls? It cleanses and washes us.
