In this series, we're looking at our 5 S's of spiritual formation and overlaying them with the directions from Romans 12 to discover new words for our community—ForeWords. The second word, Scripformation, is a derivative of our 'S' of Scripture.

Integrated thinking is what allows us to see the big picture—to see it clearly and wholly. It undermines false or misleading ideas and images. It is a powerful gift of God. We must apply our thinking to and with the Word of God. Take the words of Scripture in thoughtfully, dwell upon them, ponder their meaning, explore their implications—especially as they relate to our lives. As we bring the ideas, images, information and integrated thinking of Jesus into our lives, we have the hope of Scripformation of being renewed in our minds.
