Serving
When you find what you were made for, you feel the pleasure of God. God gives us gifts to put our lives in Play for a purpose bigger than ourselves. Not everyone has the same gifts, but we need to know who we are and what we can do best, and then use those gifts wholeheartedly for His purpose. By using those gifts, you allow God to work on your heart and give Him a chance to use you in someone else’s life. No matter your age, your availability or your experience, there’s a place for your talents and interests. It’s all about serving God with whatever you’ve got so that more people can get to know Him. Think about putting your life in Play and get involved.

When God is in you and your soul is alive, there will be places in your soul that burn with His desire to set this world right. These are Yearnings. And when God is living in you, He must come out of you. Yearnings are bringing God into the world when your gifts intersect with the world's real needs. This is when God–ministry happens. This is when God breaks into our fallen world. When you answer the call of your passions and see the human impact, you know what it is to be in Play for God. Consider what it is that you are most passionate about and choose one of those areas of interest to volunteer.

Select a volunteer opportunity within your area of interest and someone will contact you. We recommend that you consider trying a First Serve—simply trying an opportunity once just to see if you like it with no obligation required. You shadow a veteran volunteer, maybe even try your hand at it, and then decide if you would like to make a commitment.
