Favorite thing about SouthBrook: Authenticity of its people

Areas of service: Band leader, have served in almost every area from Harvestland to facility repair at one time or another.

At SouthBrook: Since 1996

Favorite thing about SouthBrook: That it remains true to its mission and true to the Word. I also love that there is constant change...it keeps us from settling into a routine...it's always fresh and always relevent.

Areas of service: Teach adult classes, provide grief counseling, community group leader and mentor, stage manager, human resources assistance as needed.

At SouthBrook for: Since 1992

Favorite thing about SouthBrook: The "whatever it takes" attitude among so many people here blows me away.

Areas of service: Senior pastor...I used to wear a lot more hats at SouthBrook, but now, out of necessity, my work is more focused on teaching and leading from a macro perspective.

Emails and phone calls to Charlie are directed to his administrative assistant. Depending on the nature of your email or call you may be directed to staff who can better respond.

At SouthBrook for: Since 1997

Favorite thing about SouthBrook: Wow, where to begin...the authenticity and compassion of the people (a real willingness to help one another)...the talent and dedication of the staff and volunteers (it's a real honor and joy to work with such gifted people)...the contemporary, applicable, life-changing services.

Other areas of service: Business Team, Women's Ministry, Harvestland, providing support on special projects.

At SouthBrook: Since 1999

Favorite thing about SouthBrook: Being the type of church where people who don't like church want to come and hear how being a Christ-follower can positively influence their lives.

Areas of service: Executive pastor, oversee Good $ense Ministry, instruct classes.

At SouthBrook: Since the mid-1990s after some friends recommended the church.

Favorite thing about SouthBrook: The culture. It meets you where you are on your journey. I felt a sense of grace and acceptance the first time I attended.

Other areas of service: Guest Servies, Guest Central, Project Upstream Building Campaign. Outside of SouthBrook, I'm involved in the local Greater Dayton Emmaus Community and other charitable organizations.
