SouthBrook's Extension Ministries exists to connect SouthBrookers with what Jesus Christ is doing beyond our walls. The ministries goal is to go into the local community and the world promoting compassion and life change through Jesus Christ.
SouthBrook supports a number of local and international organizations that serve people in need.
Building Bridges, Inc. and The George Foster Home
Building Bridges, Inc. is an intensive rehabilitation program for at-risk youth between the ages of 10 and 18. Building Bridges also runs a group home for boys called the George Foster Home, named after the Cincinnati Reds and New York Mets baseball icon. Building Bridges is always looking for volunteers to help with tutoring, cooking Sunday meals for the boys at the foster home, event support or mentoring one of the kids. Good Neighbor House
Good Neighbor House provides food, clothing, house hold furnishings and medical/dental assistance to the homeless and working poor within the Greater Dayton area. We help by providing clothing, baby supplies and furniture, donated household goods in good shape; we also volunteer at their location helping them organize their donations so their clients can shop for themselves. Noah & Co.
Noah & Co. provides love and encouragement to children recovering at Children’s Medical Center in Dayton. During hospital visits, volunteers read to the children and bring in new books for the children to read on their own. For more information, email Molly Petsch or call 937.436.4859.
The Gospel Mission
The Gospel Mission provides food, clothing, household items, shelter, community and emotional support to the poor of inner city Dayton. Join us the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 5:15 p.m. We serve meals and clean up afterwards. To get involved, go online to GospelMissionDayton.org. You can also call 937.748.9511.
The Gospel Mission also supports Camp Jabez, a Gospel-based ministry dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of Dayton-area young people in need and their families. Young Life

Navigators
By reaching and discipling college students, faculty, and college staff through on- and off-campus Bible studies, Navigators become personally involved in students' lives and share the Gospel with tomorrow's leaders at Wright State University, Sinclair Community College and University of Dayton. Women’s Recovery Center
The Recovery Outreach Ministry visits the Women’s Recovery Center, an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility in Xenia, the last Sunday of each month. Contact Lisa Moore at 866.1828 for information about how you might get involved.
American-Caribbean Experience (A.C.E.)
A.C.E. works to develop long-term relationships with indigenous churches and schools serving the needs of the poor living in St. Mary Parish in northeastern Jamaica. We're also looking for people to be monthly financial sponsors. For $30 / month, a child receives school uniforms, shoes. transportation to and from school, a cooked lunch, books and school supplies, testing fees, heath check up and tutoring. Contact Megan Gilliland for more details.
Back2Back
Back2Back works with orphaned children in Monterey, Mexico. The group also supports continuing education, vocational training and business coop internship programs. Project Africa
Project Africa provides assistance to people in local communities located in Swaziland and Mozambique suffering with the HIV/AIDS pandemic. We are looking into new ways to get involved with helping these people. The team is looking for people with construction experience, medical professionals or has a desire to go on future trips. New Hope Orphanage
