Baptism Testimony: Debbie Edwards

I realized after losing my last living parent, my Mother, at the age of 27, that my life had to change. I was now responsible for two small children and had a problem with alcohol.

I was truly blessed when the Lord put a sponsor in my life and she was always there to cheer me on. The AA program worked for me once I made my higher power to be Jesus Christ.

I received another blow when I married an alcoholic and knew that I needed my sponsor and my Savior once again. With Jesus Christ, I made it through Al-Anon to deal with the marriage that I lost to alcohol.

My life will never be the same as I have grown closer to my heavenly Father with each trial He puts before me. I praise Him every day as I know that without my Savior, I am nothing and can do nothing. God is great and God is so awesome!

Thank you Jesus, for dying for all of my sins and making the true believer that I am today. – Debbie Edwards
